S4 Confined Space Entry Video
DETERMINE IF THE AREA IS A CONFINED SPACE BY CONDUCTING A RISK ASSESSMENT. IF IT IS:

A permit must be obtained prior to works commencing.

All sources of energy affecting the confined space must be isolated.

Testing of the atmosphere must be conducted, verified and recorded prior to entering the space.

An emergency rescue plan must be in place, communicated and rehearsed so everyone’s roles and responsibilities are understood before work commences.

Re-testing of the atmosphere must be repeated and recorded as often as defined in the
risk assessment.
